PBA, NBA, football, volleyball, boxing, esports — all on one platform. Pre-match and live in-play markets available, all stakes in Philippine Peso, running around the clock.
Sports Available
From local PBA action to international football leagues — every major sport Filipino fans follow is available on the Gemzone sportsbook.
Pre-Match & In-Play
Gemzone offers two distinct modes of sports wagering, each suited to a different approach.
Pre-match markets open well in advance of each event. This gives you time to check team news, review recent form, and make deliberate decisions before the game starts. For major fixtures — a PBA Finals game, a UEFA Champions League knockout match, a world title boxing bout — the odds and available markets are published early and updated as the event approaches.
Pre-match betting is the format that suits players who like to research before placing wagers. You're working with a broader selection of markets and more time to compare the available odds on each outcome.
Once a match starts, live in-play betting opens alongside it. The odds shift continuously as the game progresses — reflecting the score, the match situation, time remaining, and momentum. Placing a bet during a basketball fourth quarter when the score is tied is a fundamentally different experience from placing the same team to win before tip-off.
In-play betting requires quicker decisions since odds windows close and re-open as the match situation changes. The Gemzone live betting interface is designed to make this fast-moving format manageable — key markets are displayed prominently, and the current score and game time update in real time alongside the odds.
Both formats use your same PHP balance. There's no separate wallet for sports betting — just one account, one balance, across every section of the Gemzone platform.

Philippine Sports Focus
The Gemzone sportsbook is designed with the Filipino sports fan in mind. That means the coverage prioritises the leagues, competitions, and athletes that matter most here — not just an international selection padded with sports that have minimal local following.
No sport generates more conversation among Filipino fans than basketball. The PBA is the oldest professional basketball league in Asia, and its conferences draw enormous interest from Manila to Davao. Gemzone covers PBA games throughout the season — Philippine Cup, Commissioner's Cup, Governors' Cup — with markets available from before tip-off through to final buzzer in live betting.
NBA coverage runs in parallel. From the regular season through to the Finals, you can bet on individual games, series outcomes, and in-play moments during live broadcasts. Filipino fans track NBA closely, and the Gemzone sportsbook reflects that.
The Philippines has produced some of the most celebrated professional boxers in history, and major world title fights featuring Filipino fighters attract massive wagering interest. Gemzone covers these bouts with pre-fight markets opening in advance of the date and a full range of outcomes available — winner, method of victory, round betting, and more for major cards.
Mobile Legends: Bang Bang has one of its biggest player and viewer bases in the Philippines, and the Gemzone esports section reflects that. MPL Philippines, M-Series world championships, and other major mobile gaming tournaments are covered. DOTA 2, League of Legends, CS2, and Valorant international events are also included for players who follow the global competitive gaming circuit.
Betting Markets
Understanding the different market types helps you pick the right bet for the situation. Here are the main formats you'll encounter:
| Bet Type | How It Works | Best For |
|---|---|---|
| Match Winner (1X2) | Bet on which team wins — Home (1), Draw (X), or Away (2). | Football, esports |
| Moneyline | Pick the outright winner when there's no draw option. Common in basketball and boxing. | Basketball, boxing |
| Spread / Handicap | A points advantage is given to the underdog. The favourite must win by more than the spread for the bet to pay out. | Basketball, football |
| Over / Under (Totals) | Bet on whether the combined score (or another stat) goes over or under a set number. | Basketball, football |
| Correct Score | Predict the exact final score. Higher odds due to increased difficulty. | Football, volleyball |
| First Scorer / MVP | Bet on which player scores first or wins the MVP award for the match or series. | Basketball, football |
| Live / In-Play | Place bets while the game is in progress. Odds update continuously as the match situation changes. | Basketball, football, esports |
